If you think that’s cool, check this out. Back in the early 1950s, some guy took a surplus Catalina and converted it into a flying yacht. Talk about traveling in style. And that side bubble makes for one hell of a picture window. Life Magazine did a pictorial about it. I’ve been meaning to do a post. More pics, and the story,
